Istanbul Gelisim University 8th Media Awards found their winners
Istanbul Gelisim University 8th Media Awards found their winners. Determined by the votes of 25 thousand students, the award winners took their awards at the ceremony held in the Gelisim Tower with the participation of names from the media, sports and arts world.
Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Istanbul Gelisim University, Abdulkadir Gayretli made statements before the award ceremony. Abdulkadir Gayretli pointed out that media awards are of great importance to them, and said: “We bring our students together with the media doyens and doyennes. These names are very important for us since being an idol to the students. Especially in the coming years, we will be in unity and solidarity with these doyens and doyennes, and we will do more than our best for qualified generations.”
The vehicle developed by the academicians of Istanbul Gelisim University was also exhibited at the ceremony. Stating that they have developed this vehicle upon President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's ‘Is there any brave fellow’ call, Gayretli said: “6 years ago, our President asked "Is there a brave fellow who will produce domestic cars?" And we said, “We must be that fellow”, and we took steps. Firstly, 5 years ago we produced our domestic car operating with 100 percent electricity. Novelty, innovation, and artificial intelligence are being mentioned. Gelisim University continues its activities in this field.”
Demirören News Agency won the ‘Best News Agency’ award at the 8th Media Awards determined by the votes of 25 thousand students. Demirören News Agency Reporter Ilknur Sargut received the award. Sargut, in her thank you speech after receiving the award, said: “As Demirören News Agency, I would like to thank you very much for this award. I have this award on behalf of all my friends working hard in Turkey's various regions to produce news.”
At the ceremony, Star TV was deemed worthy of the Best Television Channel award, while NTV was awarded as the Best News Channel, beIN SPORTS as the Best Sports Channel, Star Haber as the Best News Release, Nazlı Çelik as the Best Woman Newscaster, Cem Öğretir as the Best Male Newscaster, Emre Kaya as the Best Male Pop Music Artist, ‘Nasıl Diye Sorma (Don’t Ask How)’ as the Best Song by Emre Kaya , Ebru Yaşar as the Best Fantasy Music Artist, Zakkum as the Best Music Group, ‘Back Streets (Arka Sokaklar)’ as the Best Series, Nursel Köse as the Best Actress, ‘İbrahim Güneş İle Doğrusu Ne? (What is True with İbrahim Güneş?) ’ as the Best News Program, Dilşad Dede Taşkın as the Best Health Reporter, Murat Türker as the Best Sports Reporter, Ali Eyüboğlu as the Best Show Journalist, Beyaz Futbol-Ertem Şener as the Best Sports Program, ‘Müge Anlı ile Tatlı Sert (Kindly but Firmly with Müge Anlı)’ as the Best Daytime Program, Seyhan Şaşko as the Best Female Sports Presenter.
The Best Man Sports Speaker award was given to Ertem Şener at the ceremony, while the ‘Müge Ve Gülşen’le 2. Sayfa (2nd page with Müge And Gülşen)’ was awarded as the Best Magazine Program, ‘Çağla İle Yeni Bir Gün (A New Day with Çağla) as the Best Daytime Program, ‘Mesut Yar İle Laf Çok (Lots of Talk with Mesut Yar)’ as the Best Night Program Award, ‘Pazardayız (We are at the Bazaar) as the Best Food Program, Sabah as the Best Newspaper, Alem Fm as the Best Radio, Economist as the Best Journal. Diler Saraç, Ferdi Atuner, Şahin Özer and Çoşkun Sabah were given Award of Honor at the ceremony.
