Summer School Registration for the academic year of 2018-2019
Summer school registration for the academic year of 2018-2019 shall continue till 18:00 hours on Monday 24, 2019.
Students who have registered to classes that shall be closed for summer school due to the reason that less than 10 students have been registered for that specific class, shall be able to take another class till 18:00 hours on Thursday June 27, 2019, instead of the class that is closed or if they do not want to have another class instead, they shall be reimnbursed.
Students may not drop the courses they are registered for which are not closed or register for another course instead.
Our students who are going to have their internship during summer classes are not obliged to have internship as a class during summer school period.
All students are required to check their class registrations and in case of any system failure, apply personally latest till the end of working hours on Monday, June 24, 2019, to the Students’ Affairs of the Rector’s Office.
Course Registrations
1. IGU Students
· Please execute course registrations on OBIS (Passive Course Registration).
· Execute the payment of the courses you are going to register for.
· Your course registrations shall be activated once you execute the payment of course registration or fee per credit. Course registrations shall not be approved unless the fee is paid.
· Dropping registered courses is not available (course add and drop).
· Fee of the closed courses shall be reimbursed in the most convenient time.
· Students can register for another course instead of the closed one (Between 11:00 – 18:00 hours on Tuesday, June 25, 2019).
2. Students from other higher education institution
· Apply to Students’ Affairs Office and obtain your student number.
· Execute the credit payment of the courses you are going to register for.
· Execute your course registration on OBIS using the student number you have received.
· Fee of the closed courses shall be reimbursed in the most convenient time.

CONDITIONS OF TAKING COURSES FROM OTHER HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS DURING SUMMER SCHOOL
1) The course to be taken must not be available during summer school of IGU.
2) The course to which the student is registered at undergraduate/associate graduate program in other higher education institution must be open and the basis point of the relating program be higher than the basis point of the program at the year which the student is enrolled.
3) The local credit of the course which shall be taken by the student from another institution cannot be less than the course’s local credit of the students’ original institution and the curriculum must be approved by the chief of the equivalent department and be approved by the relating resolution of the board of administrators.
· Probationary students (with a GPA under 1.80) shall not be approved for courses which they did not take previously.
· Students not fulfilling the condition of GPA for taking courses from upper classes, shall not be permitted to take classes during summer school.
