Asst. Prof. Dr. Zülal Günal from Aviation Management at Istanbul Gelisim University the School of Applied Sciences talked about the book titled “Critical Thinking” and its writers Richard Paul and Linda Elder, which is translated by Prof. Dr. Esra Aslan and Asst. Prof. Dr. Gamze Sart and belongs to Asst. Prof. Dr. Haluk Kul in her course named Professional Aviation Manager Assistance where she analyzed the book with her students, and later taught the book as a term project to the juniors and seniors in order to teach them to be manager and manager assistant by the faculty member Zülal Günal who lectures at the Department of Aviation Management.
The students of the Department of Aviation Management made a summary of the book under the leadership of Asst. Prof. Dr. Zülal Günal by making a presentation with a synergistic team work. This summary was published into a book and presented to the university authorities and turned into a permanent work. In the book, which proposes the tools to be used in management to take responsibility for life and learning, it focuses on issues such as decision-making and problem solving, coping with irrational thoughts, ethical reasoning, strategic thinking, thought and management standards and the art of objective management. In this context, it is aimed to provide students to know their level of thought, to recognize their mind-distinguishing functions, to gain the ability of mastery of reasoning functions, to recognize problem-solving functions, to be strategic managers with ethical analysis.
